She was the VP of Engagement at a Chicago-based start-up, then jumped ship to start her own online business developing innovative programming for companies like Dell, AT&T, and Trunk Club, and individually to 8,000+ everyday folks — and counting. She believes that anyone can build a vanilla business, but suggests you grow a pair if you want to garner obsessive brand enthusiasm and actually make a dent in your market. To that end, she lives and dies by this should-be-common-sense-but-sadly-isn’t business principle: treat your customers like gold, because if you don’t, someone else sure as hell will.
