Because she spent the last decade creating, launching, and scaling global programs/brands in the start-up space, at big whig corporations, and in her own creative agency—Obedient.

She was the VP of Engagement at a Chicago-based start-up, then jumped ship to start her own online business developing innovative programming for companies like Dell, AT&T, and Trunk Club, and individually to 8,000+ everyday folks, before founding her agency. She believes that anyone can build a vanilla business, but suggests you grow a pair if you want to garner obsessive brand enthusiasm and actually make a dent in your market. To that end, she lives and dies by this should-be-common-sense-but-sadly-isn’t business principle: entertain, delight, and charm the pants off your customers, because if you don’t, someone else sure as hell will.
